What You Will Get To Do:

The Sr. Release and Deployment Manager will work with cross-functional teams across the Development and IT organizations as they plan, track and execute application changes or modifications while maintaining focus on their strategic goals and objectives. Cross functional groups include Development, Quality Assurance, Deployment, Documentation, Clients, Operations and Technical Support.

The Sr. Release and Deployment Manager will perform release analysis, manage risk, influence necessary course corrections, creative problem solving, and communicate release status and activities across multiple levels of management.

The Sr. Release and Deployment Manager will manage all aspects of the end-to-end release process, including coordination of build and test environments teams and release teams; distribution and installation of release packages following an agreed plan and schedule; and will sign-off release packages for implementation to production.

The Sr. Release and Deployment Manager will ensure teams follow the organization’s established policies and procedures that support release quality.

The Sr. Release & Deployment Manager will ensure that the integrity of a release package and its constituent components is maintained throughout the transition activities.

The Sr. Release & Deployment Manager will ensure that all release packages can be tracked, installed, tested, verified and/or uninstalled or backed out if appropriate.

The Sr. Release and Deployment Manager will maintain a detailed status, activities and issues reports on the release to present to Senior IT Management and major stakeholders; and will provide feedback to IT managers from a post-completion analysis of all projects.
What You Will Bring:

Extensive corporate project or release management experience.

Intimate knowledge of ITIL Release and Change Management methodologies, as well as the overall software development lifecycle.

Conversant in various tools for statistical analysis, management, project planning, and time tracking.

Proactive, energetic, professional self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational, leadership/decision making, creative problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects to tight timelines, attention to detail – disciplined ability to prioritize.

Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with situations where information is difficult to obtain, complex or ambiguous.

Experience is system/client conversion as well as financial investments industry knowledge.
