Niagara Children’s Centre is recognized throughout the Niagara Region as the provider of rehabilitation and support services to children and youth with physical, developmental and communicative delays and disabilities. Core services include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language services, augmentative and alternative communication, family services and therapeutic recreation.
Niagara Children’s Centre is hiring for a:
COVID-19 Screener (Part-Time Contract)
The Screener is primarily responsible to ensure that Centre employees are actively screened at the door prior to entering. This position is in response to COVID-19 safety measures. This role is new to the Centre and will provide support on COVID-19 initiatives. The Screener will promote infection prevention through everyday work. To be considered, candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- A knowledge of COVID-19 prevention standards and procedures.
- A background in the healthcare environment would be considered an asset.
- Effective communicator.
- Strong attention to confidentiality in the workplace.
- A can-do attitude with the willingness to tackle new initiatives within an evolving organization.
- Confident with working under little supervision.
- Passionate about not-for-profit environments supporting children and youth.
- Access to reliable transportation.
