Manufacturing Process Owner (1-year Contract)

We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Process Owner (1-year Contract) for our facility in Peterborough, Ontario.

As a Process Owner you are responsible for overall efficient and safe operation of production equipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality output.

Respond to production, quality and EHS concerns, leading the cross-functional team through effective problem solving, troubleshooting and decision making.
Lead training and qualification of Operators, according to a well-established training program.
Develop, maintain and/or improve documentation used for production activities.
Identify and execute process improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and safety through innovative solutions.
Work within a team of Process Owners, Maintenance and Operators groups to ensure business objectives are met.
Plan and develop maintenance requirements for equipment
Plant support, HVAC, Air Compressor and security.

P.Eng. - Mechanical or Process Engineer, Technician or Technologist.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with proven clear and succinct written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge and demonstrated application of Statistical Process Control tools and principles.
Proficient with MS Office software applications.

Knowledge and demonstrated application of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience in the Nuclear industry.
Experience with CAD software.
