Key Position Functions:
- Provide effective leadership and communication to reporting employees with respect to building a strong commitment to customer service, while maintaining a positive and effective work environment.
- Co-ordinate day-to-day operations for Rental facility.
- Co-ordinate and ensure the assembly, testing, and painting of equipment as per current company requirements.
- Co-ordinate and ensure shipping and receiving requirements are met.
- Develop schedules, assign, and monitor work as required.
- Participate in recruitment process; staff assessments, assesses training needs, develop training programs, and training new and existing staff in various aspects of departmental operations.
- Review and approve all repairs and finished assemblies.
- Organize and control all receiving of new rental equipment and verifying of serialized components (receiving and stamping).
- Conducts regular safety meetings in conjunction with Assistant Manager and Manager.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of a variety of reports, records, files; and assist in document management.
- Responsible for all equipment and tools for shop operations, report any problems or repairs required to maintain production, including scheduled maintenance when required.
- Responsible for organizing and maintaining shop for daily and annual inventory counts.
- On call responsibilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:
- Previous experience with wellhead/frac equipment and oilfield industry preferred. Field experience would be an asset.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in Rental inventory and Equipment repair.
- 3 years of supervisory experience with a proven ability to lead and direct teams.
- Experience and knowledge with API 6A.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and team skills.
- Strong problem solving and resolution skills.
- Well organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs and applications.
- Working knowledge and experience with ERP systems.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Valid driver’s license.
