FISPAN is an Enterprise SaaS FinTech start-up that allows for banks to deploy embedded financial products and services to create a seamless banking connection for their corporate clients. Our product aims to provide instant scale and reach for banks who want to remove friction and add value by enabling their commercial banking clients to access banking services through their preferred operational software. FISPAN is looking for a software developer co-op to work closely with the Software Development team and Lead Architect. FISPAN’s business model unites 3 disparate types of enterprises: fast-moving and edgy FinTech providers, Banks, and large corporations. Our API-driven SAAS platform presents a fantastic opportunity for your development talents to shine. You will help define our platform’s specifications, and then design, code, test, debug, and document our service. pursuing a degree in computing science
Must have experience with relational Databases (No-SQL is a plus) and the ability to write SQL queries
Be familiar with source control and build systems:
Experience with AWS or any other cloud providers is a plus
Having already completed a co-op term is an asset
Develop RESTful APIs
Integrate external accounting systems (ERPs)
Designs and implements server-side applications (Kotlin, Java 11, Spring Boot, Netflix OSS)
Improves our automated testing suite
Participates in project teams
Participates in design reviews
Provides time estimates for assigned development
Carries out other related tasks and duties as assigned
