604 Traffic Control is looking to add 2 more LCT's to our team!!
As a Lane Control Technician at 604 Traffic Control, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic in various work areas, spanning from Hope to Vancouver and everything in between. Operating newer, well-equipped trucks, you will execute lane control procedures with precision and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Execute lane control procedures to facilitate the safe movement of traffic.
- Operate company vehicles, including newer and well-equipped trucks, in accordance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate traffic control activities effectively.
- Adapt to changing work environments and traffic conditions.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while representing 604 Traffic Control on-site.
- Fill out all required paperwork, and documentation required by law.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Lane Control Technician of 2 years required
- Strong understanding of traffic control procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts, occasional weekends, and emergency call-outs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. (Please attach: BC Drivers Abstract) applications without Abstract need not apply and will not be considered.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments and withstand varying weather conditions.
