Please note this is a casual position with 20-40 hours expected per week that will last approximately 3-4 months
Your Contribution:
Your main responsibilities

Learn new instrumentation and monitoring technologies and deploy them in the field;

Provide on-site instrumentation support and basic troubleshooting;

Install, remove, and maintain monitoring equipment, including but not limited to seismographs, noise monitors, vibration monitors, dust monitors, weather stations, tiltmeters, inclinometers, rock temperature sensors, water level sensors/VWPs, strain gauges, and digital/manual crack monitoring equipment. Knowledge of this equipment is considered an asset but is not required;

Provide on-site noise, vibration, overpressure, and hydrostatic pressure monitoring for construction, blasting, and mining activities to help ensure compliance with applicable project requirements, guidelines, and regulations;

Assist with reviewing remote noise and vibration data and preparing factual weekly monitoring reports for senior staff;

Support field inspections, equipment checks, and monitoring setup during active construction activities;

Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules.
Your Profile:
What makes you unique

Degree, diploma, or coursework in an engineering, environmental, technology, or related field is considered an asset;

Valid provincial driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation;

Strong written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely in reports;

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis;

Comfortable working outdoors and on active construction sites;
-
Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
