We are looking for a Shift Leader who leads by example, inspires their team, and upholds our mission statement that "Every Guest Leaves Brighter". In this role, you’ll support café operations, coach and develop team members, and help create a welcoming atmosphere focused on exceptional coffee, guest experience, and culture!
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support the team during shifts with confidence
- Deliver outstanding guest experiences through great service and product knowledge
- Delegate tasks, maintain store standards, and ensure smooth operations
- Train, coach, and inspire team members
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-energy café culture
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and food-safe standards
- Assist with opening/closing duties and cash handling
- Assist manager in inventory management and ordering
What You Bring:
- Passion for coffee and hospitality (at least 1 year barista experience)
- Experience in café/food service (leadership experience required)
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Ability to stay composed and effective in busy environments
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Safe Level 1 and interest in further barista development
