As a Residential Leasing Agent, you would be expected to respond to rental inquiries before, during and after regular work hours. Rental showings are only permissible between 8am and 8pm, 7 days a week, but you would not be expected to perform showings each and every day in the 12 hour window.
You will have a detailed list of specific rental listings to manage while working along side 3 other rental agents to obtain the same goal - All listings rented with minimal vacancy.
Experience in this field is not necessary. We are looking for energetic, positive individuals who can work well and thrive in a fast paced work environment.
This role offers a base salary supplemented by commission. Typical commissions average around $300 per unit, with some units paying slightly less depending on the scope of work involved.
Currently, we are looking for a new member for our Leasing Team.
As a Residential Leasing Agent, you would be responsible for:
- Marketing of rental listings on multiple online platforms.
- Showing rental units to prospective tenants.
- Responding to inquiries about rental units.
- Being prompt for showings and keep in contact with prospective tenants through email/phone.
- Having an answer to any questions perspective tenants might have.
- Sending applications to prospective tenants, complete reference checks, approve tenants and follow through with the signing of the lease.
- Completing a walkthrough of units turning over to look for any work that needs to be completed.
- Having keys cut and ready for pick up on turnover.
- Meeting with colleagues regularly regarding tenant and general issues.
