Job Description:
You want to assist in the effort to contain the spread of COVID-19? How would you like to help people in need from the comfort of your own home? We believe that we can make a difference in people’s lives, and would love for you to join us on our mission!
This is a three-month contract with possibility of extension.
What does your typical day look like?
Management of confirmed cases of COVID-19 and investigation
Call citizens who have tested positive for COVID-19 to inform them of their results;
Ask citizens who have tested positive about their recent whereabouts by filling out a questionnaire to help identify potential COVID-19 cases;
Contact the identified potential cases and determine if they are experiencing symptoms;
Give advice and recommendations by phone and email to those who have tested positive;
Document all the information in a computer system.
What skills and training do you need?
Member of the OIIQ; OIIAQ or retired nurse;
Compassion and desire to help others;
Excellent communication skills in French (any other language is considered an asset);
Available days, evenings until 7pm and 2 weekends per month;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
