.NET Developer (Dynamics 365 / Power Platform) | 6 month contract | Remote across Canada
We are hiring a senior .NET developer for a six month contract supporting a federal program. The work is Microsoft end to end: C# and .NET on the back end, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform in front, Azure underneath. If you have spent the last few years building model driven apps and wiring them into other enterprise systems, this will feel familiar.
You need an active Enhanced Reliability clearance to be considered. That one is not flexible, so please only apply if you hold it.
What you will be doing
- Designing, building, testing and supporting enterprise applications in C#, .NET, TypeScript, React, Next.js, SQL and REST APIs
- Building integrations between Dynamics 365 or Power Apps and other enterprise systems such as finance, HR and SQL platforms
- Designing Dataverse and Dynamics 365 data models, including tables, relationships and security models
- Building cloud native solutions on Azure, including Service Bus, Logic Apps and Functions
- Running CI/CD pipelines and solution deployment through Azure DevOps
- Designing security, auditing and monitoring controls for an environment handling sensitive data
- Providing technical leadership and troubleshooting on complex systems
- Keeping everything aligned to Government of Canada security, privacy, accessibility and digital standards
What we are looking for
- Active Enhanced Reliability clearance
- 10+ years in application development at a senior level
- Recent hands on depth in Dataverse or Dynamics 365 data modelling and system integration
- Experience extending the platform with custom workflow activities or C# plugins, JavaScript or TypeScript client side scripting, or PCF controls
- Integration experience using at least two of: custom connectors, Power Automate cloud flows, server side C# plugins, or Azure integration services
- Application Lifecycle Management for Power Platform or Dynamics 365, including managed and unmanaged solutions across Dev, Test and Prod
- Dataverse security work: business units, security roles, access teams, field level security and auditing
- Wider Power Platform exposure is a strong plus: Power Pages, Power BI embedding, AI Builder or Copilot Studio, Power Automate Desktop
The practical details
Six months to start with, remote from anywhere in Canada, full time hours, $56.67 per hour. Start date is immediate for the right person.
