Recreation Aide - Part Time
**Must be Flexible - Days/Evenings/Weekends/Holidays**
We are currently seeking to hire one Recreation Aide Part Time for our StayWell Manor Village location.
If you have a Certificate in Recreation Therapy Aide or equivalent, and possess a passion for working with Seniors, we welcome your application. The Recreation Aide is responsible for executing and promoting a variety of activities that include internal and external opportunities for socialization across the religious and ethnic backgrounds of Residents.

What you offer:
- Recreation Therapy Assistant Certificate (Required)
- Previous experience with Dementia Care and managing responsive behaviors
- Experience in planning activities and events focused on seniors; in an Independent, Assisted Living and or Memory Care environment
- Current CPR
- Clear Criminal Records Check (dated within the past 6 months)
- Musical aptitude (An asset)
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- Class 4 License (ability to obtain)
- The ability to connect with our senior Residents and those with dementia
- Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional computer skills (InDesign experience an asset)
