Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a radon mitigator. This role involves hands-on work in construction projects, requiring a strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude. Duties
- Perform tasks across multiple sites, ensuring all work meets quality standards
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively to complete mitigation projects
- Assist with the installation of mitigation systems using appropriate tools and techniques
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, organizing materials, and setting up necessary equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas during and after project completion
- Support the use of construction experience to troubleshoot issues and improve workflow
Qualifications
- Prior experience with construction is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is highly desirable
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds, standing for extended periods, and walking across large sites or distances within the work area
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are preferred but not mandatory depending on project location
