Private Treatment Centre is seeking a full time housekeeper to work at our residential facility in Aurora, Ontario. Responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and ensuring a sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
As Housekeeper your job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following activities:
- Laundering of client sheets & towels
- Clean and maintain dining room, bedrooms, lounges, activity areas & offices
- Clean and stock restrooms
- Dusting throughout the house -bedrooms, offices, gym, basement, including properly cleaning of upholstered furniture
- Cleaning all floors throughout the house
- Disposing Garbage as required
- Keep stocked inventory of cleaning supplies
- Ability to manage your time efficiently and work well unsupervised
- Ability to lift at least 25lbs
- Any other housekeeping duties as required
- Works in a safe manner which abides by Occupational Health and Safety policies
- Notify managers of any necessary repairs
- Assist residents when necessary
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Possess good judgment and problem solving skills
- Requires an individual who takes direction well from both their supervisor and the residents we serve
- This position requires the ability to balance a task oriented approach with good interpersonal skills that support the dignity of residents
- Sensitive to the needs of residents
- Able to manage priorities and multi-task
- Work and follow all health and safety policies and guidelines
