We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our products reach customers across Canada and the United States accurately, on time, and in full compliance with all customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on schedule.
- Prepare relevant documentation and labels, including US customs documentation. Complete commercial invoices and ensure all export information is accurate.
- Coordinate daily shipments with courier, LTL, and freight carriers.
- Schedule pickups and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and freight claims.
- Ensure shipping records are maintained accurately.
- Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
- Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth border crossings.
- Verify HS tariff classifications, country of origin information, and shipping documentation.
- Monitor shipments held at customs and resolve clearance issues promptly.
- Maintain compliance with Canadian and U.S. import/export regulations.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock organization.
- Report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged products.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of shipping, logistics, or warehouse experience.
- Experience handling U.S. customs documentation and cross-border shipments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of freight carriers, shipping procedures, and logistics coordination.
- Experience using ERP, inventory, or shipping software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Forklift certification is an asset.
