The Early Years is seeking a well-organized and collaborative candidate for the permanent position of Early Learning and Child Care Program Manager for the Central East area of the province. This position will be located in Saskatoon, Humboldt or Yorkton, please indicate preference in your application.
Reporting to the Director of Child Care Operations, you will supervise staff and manage human resources for a team implementing the provincial child care program. You will provide expert advice and resolve complex problems regarding the regulation and delivery of the child care program in the community. You will assess and monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of program delivery and adherence to regulations, policies and procedures. Finally, you will provide advice and direction to school divisions, municipalities and community-based groups for the development of new, quality child care services. Some travel is required.
The knowledge and skills required for this position would typically be acquired through the completion of a Bachelor Degree in Human Services or Early Childhood Education and several years of management experience within an early learning and child care program.
