Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Clerk to join our team, specializing in RV parts management. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the Rv industry , with a understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management. The Parts Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient ordering and distribution of parts essential for our operations.
Duties
- Manage inventory of RV parts
- Process purchase orders and coordinate orders to ensure timely availability of parts
- Source parts from suppliers, maintain supplier relationships to optimize costs and quality
- Assist customers with parts inquiries, providing exceptional customer service both in person and via phone or email
- Maintain organized records of parts transactions, returns, and warranties
- Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory
- Receive and unpack incoming shipments
- Help keep the parts department clean and organized
Skills
- Knowledge of order processes, sourcing strategies, and negotiation techniques
- Previous Rv parts or mechanical knowledge related to RVs systems is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping and inventory control
