Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lock mechanisms and security systems, with the ability to provide exceptional service to our clients. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residential, commercial, and automotive properties by installing, repairing, and maintaining various locking systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace locks and locking mechanisms on doors, windows, safes, and vehicles.
- Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and efficiently.
- Assess security needs for clients and recommend appropriate locking solutions.
- Maintain an inventory of locks, keys, and related materials.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Keep detailed records of services performed and materials used.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in locksmith technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Locksmith or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of lock types, key cutting techniques, and security systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or standing for extended periods.
