Responsibilities
- Perform professional hair styling services tailored to client preferences, including cuts, color, and treatments
- Provide outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all styling tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products to clients to enhance their overall experience and meet sales goals
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling transactions
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge to deliver innovative services
Experience
- Valid license as a <PERSON> with current certification
- Proven experience in hair styling, including cutting, coloring, and styling techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele
- Experience in retail sales or upselling preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
- Prior experience working at the front desk or managing appointment scheduling is a plus
- Knowledge of sanitation standards within a salon environment is essential
