The Claim Auditor II is responsible for auditing claims for our clients, validating the claims submitted by the providers and making sure they are in compliance with the conditions listed in the supplier’s agreement. Generally speaking, the auditor will be specialized in a specific area (such as medication for dental care) or may be responsible for auditing claim requests that involve multiple benefits.

Responsibilities:
Provide support for the planning, performance and reporting on the audits conducted, in accordance with stated standards
Carry out internal audits in accordance with professional standards and assist with audit planning activities
Plan and carry out follow-up reviews in order to mitigate risks and control exposure
Participate in assessing risks related to the company, the business unit or a given project
Help conduct specific investigations and other special projects
Qualifications

Required experience:
At least 5 years’ experience in auditing or in the fields of medication, dental care or extended health care
Post-secondary degree in health sciences or administration preferable
Professional designation as an internal auditor an asset

Skills and abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
Ease working in an environment with a matrix structure
Excellent problem-solving skills
Solid analytical skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex commercial concepts
Ability to manage multiple priorities
