Job Summary ** Temporary position**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the educational and developmental needs of young children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a passion for early childhood education. This position involves assisting lead teachers in implementing lesson plans, engaging with children, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere in our 3-5 yr room.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide support to children during classroom activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom setting.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support the educational process.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Previous classroom experience is preferred, particularly in early childhood education settings.
- Strong teaching skills and the ability to engage young learners effectively.
- A background in caregiving or experience with children is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
