Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as CLOVER
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed within safety guidelines
- Follow food safety protocols to uphold health standards in all service activities
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially CLOVER, is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order processing
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork
