The Role
We're looking for a video editor who can take raw footage — restaurant shoots, brand films, event coverage, on-site interviews — and turn it into scroll-stopping, cinematic social content. This isn't corporate video editing. We need someone who understands pacing, sound design, and visual rhythm the way top-tier social creators do, and who can move fast across multiple client projects at once.
What you'll be doing
- Editing short-form vertical content (Reels/TikTok/Shorts) with strong pacing, beat-sync, and speed ramping
- Cutting cinematic brand films and interview-style content from multi-camera footage
- Color grading and audio cleanup to a polished, professional finish
- Working from shot lists and creative direction to match each client's brand tone
- Turning around content on tight deadlines across several clients simultaneously
- Occasionally incorporating AI-assisted techniques (transitions, motion, generative elements) into edits
What we're looking for
- A strong portfolio/reel showing social-first editing — not just long-form video
- Proficiency in CapCut and/or Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus)
- A sharp eye for pacing, music sync, and what makes content actually stop the scroll
- Comfort taking direction from shot lists and creative briefs, but also bringing your own instincts
- Reliable turnaround and communication — we move fast and need editors who can keep up
- Bonus: experience editing food & beverage, hospitality, or trades/construction content

- Contract/freelance basis, ongoing work across multiple active clients
