Job Summary
The Millwright plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our operations. This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment, machinery, and vehicles within the facility. The successful candidate will lead preventive maintenance initiatives, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, and ensure safe, continuous operations with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with company safety standards
- Oversee maintenance and servicing of all production equipment, machinery, and vehicles
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs
- Prepare and submit monthly maintenance reports, including cost analysis and performance metrics
- Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., Flow, Ferro, Versatile, Sax) for repairs and servicing
- Collaborate with the Shop Manager to assign and prioritize maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to reduce downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, efficiency, and reliability
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to maintenance staff in daily operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification in industrial, mechanical, or electrical maintenance preferred
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Millwright experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Proven experience managing preventive maintenance programs
- Experience working with third-party vendors and service providers
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
