About the Role
Blind Beauty is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to help homeowners find the perfect window covering solutions. This position involves traveling to customers' homes, conducting consultations, taking accurate measurements, recommending products, and preparing quotes.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customers' homes for scheduled appointments.
- Conduct in-home consultations for blinds, shades, drapery, and other window coverings.
- Measure windows accurately and document all specifications.
- Present product options, samples, and recommendations based on customer needs and budget.
- Prepare and provide estimates and quotations.
- Follow up with leads, prospects, and existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate with the office and installation team to ensure smooth project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of appointments, measurements, quotes, and sales activities.
- Meet monthly sales goals and performance targets.
- Represent Blind Beauty professionally and positively at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience preferred (home improvement, interior design, construction, or window coverings is an asset).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when measuring.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, email, and CRM software.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry product samples.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.
- Clean driving record.
- Availability for evening and weekend appointments as needed.
