The Role:
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to fill the position of PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE / EQUIPMENT OPERATOR. The role is based within our Vankleek Hill, Ontario (CANADA) facility. The position requires an individual who can adapt to various production tasks, learn detailed production operations, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided on sewing, cutting, printing, and embroidery equipment. The candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Role Responsibilities:
Some of the key duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Fabric preparation and lamination (heat press).
- Fabric cutting and formatting (by hand / by machine).
- Emblem trimming, finishing, quality control, and packaging.
- Product receiving and re-packaging.
- Printing and heat transfer application (heat seal).
- Maintain workspace tidiness.
- Assist with inventory counts.
- Some sewing equipment operation (trained).
- Assist with embroidery equipment operation.
- Assist with equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Candidates should have the legal right to work in Canada.
- Completion of secondary or post-secondary education.
- The ability to easily communicate in English, both verbally and in written form.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to perform recurring tasks within set timelines.
- Basic Microsoft Windows computer skills. (Training will be provided on specialized production software.)
- Experience in a production environment.
- Experience with sewing operations.
- Some experience with embroidery operations.
- Exposure to textile manufacturing.
- Exposure to imprint and/or promotional products is a bonus.
Parameters:
- Permanent, full-time role.
- Working schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with breaks, Monday to Friday.
