Job Title: Python Java Developer
Location: Montreal, QC
Duration: 6 Months
Employment Type: Contract
Work Arrangement: Onsite preferred (5 days/week); hybrid option available (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
We are seeking a skilled Python Java Developer to support the development of data-driven and machine learning-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python as a primary programming language, along with working knowledge of Java, and experience in building scalable data solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python and Java
- Build and support machine learning models and data-driven solutions
- Work with databases and data platforms, including Snowflake
- Develop and optimize data pipelines and backend services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development environments
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement
- Strong experience in Python (primary programming language)
- Working knowledge of Java
- Experience with Machine Learning concepts and implementation
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and database systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
- Experience with Agentic AI or similar advanced AI frameworks
- Willingness and aptitude to learn emerging AI technologies
- Familiarity with modern data engineering and cloud platforms
