Willsie Equipment Sales is a farm equipment manufacturer. We have been in business since 1948, building custom farm equipment for fruit and vegetable farmers and nurseries across the world.
We pride ourselves on excellent workmanship and customer service and are looking to add another quality employee to our team. This role is integral in our operations and we are looking for a full-time permanent employee to come on board and help us improve our company even further.
Compensation is competitive in the industry with a benefits package included after three months.
Job duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Using a high attention to detail in order to weld parts and equipment as outlined in drawings and blueprints;
- using good judgment and attention to detail to provide quality checks on recently welded equipment before assembly;
- Prep pieces for weld using a variety of shop equipment, including lathes, presses, bandsaws etc.;
- Assemble equipment as necessary as outlined in drawings and/or blueprints;
- reading and following drawings and blueprints; and
- accurately taking and reading measurements;
Successful candidates will be required to:
- Read, write and speak English effectively;
- be punctual (providing their own reliable transportation to and from work);

- provide quality work using high attention to detail;
- work well in a team environment;
- take initiative when given the opportunity;
- effectively manage their own time;
- Lift up to 50lbs;
- take and read measurements effectively; and
- be open minded and respond positively to new challenges and opportunities.
Previous experience as a welder/fabricator required, some training can be provided, tickets are not required. Some knowledge of standard farming equipment preferred but not required.
The hours for this position are:
7:00AM - 4:30PM Monday - Thursday
7:00AM - 12:00PM Friday
