Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various construction, maintenance, and installation projects by performing physically demanding tasks. Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features.
- Perform site preparation, excavation, grading, and material handling.
- Install sod, trees, shrubs, and other landscape elements.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
- Read and follow project plans, layouts, and supervisor instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of previous experience in landscape construction, general construction, or a related skilled labour position.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, or other equipment is an asset.
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and safe work practices.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
