RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assisting with personal care including: showering, toileting, dressing, medications
· Companionship: Engaging your client in activities inside and outside of the house
· Running Errands (at client's request)
· Preparing healthy meals (at clients request)
· Driving and accompanying to appointments and outings (optional for clients)
· Light housekeeping (surface cleaning, garbage removal, general tidy of main living spaces, laundry)
· Consistent and professional documentation and communication with management
· Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times
REQUIREMENTS
· Health Care Aide Certification (preferred)
· Registered on the Alberta HCA Directory (required)
· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (required)
· Reliable Vehicle for Transporting Clients
· First Aid/CPR certificate
· Experience working with vulnerable groups, particularly seniors
· Dementia care training is an asset
· Experience with in-home care is an asset
· Skills in meal preparation, cooking, and baking is an asset
· Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector (required)
· Fluency in English (both written and spoken) required for professional communication, report writing, and client interactions.
Due to the nature of our business in taking care of the vulnerable population, we require our caregivers to be current with Covid -19 vaccinations.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
