We are currently recruiting for full-time Dispatcher.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and dispatch ready-mix concrete deliveries to customer job sites.
Coordinate daily truck assignments and driver schedules to maximize efficiency.
Monitor delivery schedules and adjust dispatches as required due to weather, traffic, equipment issues, or changing customer needs.
Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, plant personnel, and sales staff regarding delivery schedules and order updates.
Enter, update, and maintain accurate order and dispatch information within the dispatch system.
Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve scheduling concerns professionally.
Monitor fleet utilization and identify opportunities to improve productivity.
Maintain accurate dispatch records and daily reports.
Work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous dispatch, logistics, transportation, or ready-mix industry experience is considered an asset.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Knowledge of the local road network and surrounding service areas is an asset.
