We are seeking a highly skilled Millwork Detailer with a strong background in Microvellum and custom millwork drafting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience producing detailed shop drawings, and production-ready files for complex, high-end projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed shop and production drawings using Microvellum, AutoCAD, and related software
- Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to develop accurate millwork details
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and shop floor to ensure seamless fabrication
- Ensure that all drawings meet client requirements, industry standards, and company quality expectations
- Participate in design reviews and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Millwork Detailer in the architectural millwork industry
- Proficient in Microvellum and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of woodworking methods, joinery techniques, hardware, and finishing processes
- Proven ability to produce accurate and thorough shop drawings for custom, high-end millwork
- Understanding of architectural plans, elevations, sections, and construction documents
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
