About Golf Almighty
Golf Almighty is an indoor golf simulator and sports bar with locations in Brampton and Bolton. We are looking for a friendly, dependable and organized team member who can provide excellent food and beverage service while helping guests enjoy a smooth and welcoming golf-lounge experience.
This is more than a traditional bartending role. You will support the on-site guest experience by welcoming customers, serving drinks and simple food, answering common questions, providing basic simulator-bay assistance, processing food and beverage payments, and keeping the facility clean, stocked and ready for guests.
What You Will Do
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Prepare and serve simple food items while following food-safety requirements.
- Prepare, portion and restock food and drink ingredients, garnishes and supplies as needed, following proper food-safety and storage procedures.
- Greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and make menu recommendations.
- Provide basic simulator-bay orientation and help guests with common on-site simulator questions.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle cash, credit and debit transactions.
- Check identification, monitor alcohol consumption, and follow Smart Serve and responsible-service requirements.
- Maintain clean, sanitary, safe and organized bar, food-preparation, storage and guest areas.
- Complete opening and closing duties, restock supplies, reconcile assigned cash, and assist with inventory counts.
- Follow workplace procedures, checklists, safety requirements and incident-reporting expectations.
- Help create a fun, professional and welcoming environment for every guest.
What We Are Looking For
- Valid Smart Serve certification.
- Valid Food Handler Certificate.
- Previous bartending, serving, hospitality or customer-service experience is preferred.
- Friendly and professional communication skills.
- Strong reliability, attention to detail and cash-handling accuracy.
- Ability to stay organized, follow procedures and manage several responsibilities during a shift.
- Comfortable working independently at times and taking responsibility for opening or closing tasks.
- Comfortable learning basic golf-simulator procedures. Golf experience is an asset but is not required.
- Reliable transportation or another dependable way to commute to both Golf Almighty locations.
- Consistent availability for evening and weekend shifts. Priority will be given to candidates with broad Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability.
Locations
- Brampton: 3 Chapel Street, Brampton, Ontario
- Bolton: 18 King Street East, Bolton, Ontario
Employees may be scheduled at either location based on operational needs and must be able to reliably commute to both.
Scheduling and Availability
This is primarily an evening and weekend position. Shift start and end times may vary and may change as bar hours expand or based on seasonal and operational needs. Candidates must be comfortable working later evening shifts and should provide their complete availability for each day of the week.
Hours and shifts are scheduled according to business needs and employee availability. No minimum number of hours or shifts is guaranteed.
Compensation
- $17.95 per hour plus tips.
- Biweekly pay by direct deposit.
- Vacation pay and other employment entitlements provided in accordance with Ontario employment standards.
Physical Requirements
The role may involve prolonged standing and walking, bending and reaching, safely lifting or carrying items weighing up to 20 kg (approximately 44 lb), and safely using an approved step ladder or ladder after instruction. Accommodation will be provided as required by the Ontario Human Rights Code.
