This Inside sales associate position with Lumenstar LED lighting will be responsible for providing help with counter sales / email and telephone inquiries as well as following up on sales leads while maintaining and growing a network of contacts.
You will be responsible for keeping customers updated with new products, price lists and other related marketing materials as well as quoting and other required tasks.
- Prioritizing quotation requests as they are requested by customers
- Responding to and processing, emails, incoming calls, walk-ins and purchase orders.
- Full cycle sales process from initial contact, sales quote and communicating delivery to the warehouse.
- Opening new accounts, developing customer base and sales leads
- Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential up-selling.
- Responding to questions and/or inquiries and providing information pertaining to products or projects being quoted.
- Maintaining knowledge base on current products and learning about new products.
- Identify product[s] the customer requires that may not be stocked by the Company and sourcing the product[s].
- Purchasing [direct orders].
- Counter Sales [where applicable].
- Providing basic technical support on products.
- Troubleshooting orders with help of Shipper/receiver [freight problems, expediting, etc…].
- Shipping & Receiving - daily verify orders and fill-in if the shipper/receiver is absent [where applicable].
- Other duties as required.
- High School Diploma required.
- University/College Diploma an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
- Product knowledge or industry experience preferred.
- Electrical Sales experience an asset.
