What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the friendly face (and voice!) of Saltbox Brewery—welcoming guests, sharing our story, and helping people find their new favourite beer or cider. Your days might include:
- Greeting guests like old friends (even when they’re new)
- Pouring, filling, and packaging beer & cider
- Educating customers on Saltbox beers, ciders, merch, and ethos
- Making great recommendations and ringing in sales
- Food service and wait staff required at Lightship Brewery
- Handling cash and payments with confidence
- Checking ID to ensure all guests are of legal drinking age (19+)
- Keeping the taproom, retail space, and storage areas clean, safe, and organized
- Helping organize, set up and execute fun events & concerts
- Stocking shelves, assisting with inventory, and helping with product deliveries
- Pitching in wherever needed—teamwork makes the dream work
You’ll work both onsite (Mahone Bay/Bridgewater/Lunenburg and/or Tantallon) and occasionally offsite, representing Saltbox at events and locations across the province.

- Have a clean driver’s abstract (nice to have, not required)

- Comfortable standing for long periods
- Able to lift and move kegs up to 50 lbs
