Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sheetmetal Tradesman to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, fabricating, and repairing sheet metal components used in a variety of building systems, including HVAC, ventilation, and architectural features. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your technical skills and craftsmanship to contribute to safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements and specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, assemble, and install sheet metal components with precision.
- Fabricate custom sheet metal parts for HVAC systems, ductwork, roofing, or architectural features as needed.
- Measure and mark materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment during installation.
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, plumbing, drywall installation, and construction painting to coordinate project tasks seamlessly.
- Perform maintenance and restoration work on existing structures involving sheet metal elements.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools and working at heights or in confined spaces.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or sheet metal work with a strong understanding of industry standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other relevant machinery.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
- Knowledge of construction processes including drywall installation, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing basics, and construction painting is highly desirable.
- Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting and fabrication tasks.
- Experience with restoration projects involving sheet metal components is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills.

Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
