Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (turret and press brake)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
- Verify dimensions of products using precision measurement instruments
- Report deviations from specifications to supervisors
- Compute dimensions, tolerances, and lay out work pieces
- Follow production schedules outlined in job orders
- Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in work area
Qualifications Required
- Technical diploma in CNC machining or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC operations
- CNC certification preferred
- Proficiency with CNC software and tools
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues
- Attention to detail and precision
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable and punctual, willing to work the posted shift
