We’re looking for a hungry, big-idea-driven digital-focused marketer to join our team. The Manager, Digital & Media will act as an integral member of the Roots Global Marketing team. This individual will collaborate to ensure marketing campaigns and innovation plans are fully integrated including digital, social and media best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience across a variety of digital/social marketing campaigns.

You know them inside and out, but have a strong appetite to learn more about our consumer in Taiwan, Hong Kong, the USA and other countries as we continue to grow our brand globally.

To be successful, you’ll need to possess:
  • University degree in business or marketing-related field
  • Relevant digital & media experience in a brand marketing and/or agency role
  • Proven record of success in traditional and non-traditional marketing with measurable results
  • Apparel/retail industry experience preferred
  • Expert in digital, media strategy and social media
  • Passion for fashion and social media and believes social is an always-on, real-time, high-touch channel and strives to create high impact moments.
  • Your always ‘in the know’ and friends look to you for style inspiration.
  • Knowledge of paid social media tactics, targeting capabilities and promotional execution.
  • Thorough understanding of digital analytics and measurement
  • Proven ability to leverage analytics to make strategic and tactical recommendations on content and story-telling.
  • A clear and concise communicator
  • Highly capable of juggling work priorities and deliverables with a flexible and can-do approach, while maintaining a high level of accountability.
  • Creative problem-solver who has a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and direct internal teams and outside resources.
  • An individual who is an energizer and a trusted team player.

  • Working collaboratively with internal/external partners, lead the strategy and execution media and digital campaigns.
  • Leads execution of internal brand media allocations across owned platforms.
  • Develop measurements goals, data capture requirements, ROI campaign and media performance of owned, earned and shared properties.
  • Develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with marketing and eComm teams to understand business objectives to ensure that content/campaigns are effectively integrated.
  • Manages paid media strategy and execution.
  • Build relationships/partnerships with key players in the digital space that help strengthen Roots digital marketing efforts globally.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of consumer personas to translate into strategies that support and drive the commercial business.
  • Analyze trends, business results and the competitive environment; identify consumer insights and translate insights into action.
  • Effectively manage project timelines and budgets aligned to strategic marketing and brand objectives.
  • Support the execution and analysis of marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing specific programs and tools.
  • Lead, develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors and suppliers
  • Inspire new creative thinking and big ideas to transform growth for the brand.
  • With support of team, drives social media calendar, analytics & optimization.
  • Collaborates with team in the development of social & digital content development.
  • Takes initiative to research and stay on top of the latest trends in marketing, digital and social.
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest trends/insights and best practices.
  • Drives social engagement plans ensuring a strong connection with the consumer.
  • Develops ongoing digital metric reporting and analysis for all campaigns.
