Company Overview
Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited (“CTC”) is a highly respected and innovative leader in retail, boasting a diverse portfolio of brands and a widespread presence across the country. With numerous retail locations, robust e-commerce platforms, and forward-thinking merchandising strategies, CTC is dedicated to enhancing the shopping experience and making life better for customers nationwide.
The Opportunity
The front end is one of the busiest and most visible areas of our store—and we are looking for a confident, positive and people-focused leader to take ownership of it.
We want someone who genuinely enjoys working with people: a friendly, approachable manager who builds strong teams, creates an upbeat work environment and handles customers professionally—even when situations are challenging. The right person will be visible, engaged and enthusiastic, with the ability to make both employees and customers feel welcomed, heard and supported.
As our Front End Manager, you will lead the Cashier and Customer Service teams, shape the experience our customers receive, and ensure the department operates efficiently and consistently. You will build a team that is friendly and helpful while also holding employees accountable for their performance, attendance, cash-handling responsibilities, and adherence to store policies.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail leader who enjoys bringing out the best in people, improving operations, solving problems and creating a positive customer experience. You will also oversee several of our community and charitable initiatives, helping your team make a meaningful impact beyond the store.
Canadian Tire has been one of Canada’s most recognized and trusted retailers for more than 100 years. Our store is locally owned and operated, allowing us to combine the resources of a national brand with the personal connection of a community business.
