McIlvaney Riley Land Surveying is a locally owned and operated land surveying firm, providing a full suite of legal surveying services throughout greater Victoria and south Vancouver Island for almost 40 years.
We are seeking an Office Manager/Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our small but dedicated team.
This is a Temporary Position, and requires in-person attendance. The position is available immediately.
Key Job Activities:
- Maintaining office filing systems and supplies
- Managing front desk/reception, incoming and outgoing emails/mail and phone calls
- Data Entry
- Preparing Invoices
- Full cycle Bookkeeping
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Bank and credit card reconciliation
- Payroll, GST and WCB Reports month-end and year-end tasks
- General office cleaning and organization
Skills Required:
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software
- Proficient in Sage 50 Accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread invoices and reports
- Excellent computer fluency
- Effectively prioritize duties and multitask
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimum supervision
