Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, food prep stations, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to deliver timely service
- Manage guest requests efficiently, resolving issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and order accuracy
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
- A positive attitude with a passion for delivering guest services that exceed expectations
