Job description :
Working in partnership with the branches, technical services and Sitech, provide on-site support to the Mining Technology Products. Support and repair of wireless networks, MineStar Software and MineStar Hardware, with a specialized focus on semi-autonomous command systems and line of sight remote control systems.
Warranty repairs to MineStar products (Command, Line of Site remote)
Customer and Dealer training of MineStar products, repair and operation along with marketing strategies based on competitive knowledge
Weekly health check on all MineStar systems, ensure that branch product problem management list for all Technology products has action plan for each item. Utilize Sitech, TC’s and branch staff to complete action items.
Communication of product problems and market issues using DSN process and Toromont MineStar online ticket system.
Failure analysis and continuous improvement projects.
Special mining business projects (RFP submissions, sales presentations, new technology product introduction)
Revenue generation – billable time for repairs to Caterpillar technology products, training courses, new installations, updates
Job Qualifications :
DEP in Mechanical, Electrical, Networking, Electromechanical, or 10 years of relevant experience in similar role
Mechanical knowledge. Electrical Knowledge. Networking Knowledge. Instrumentation Knowledge
Customer relationship skills.
Remote control systems.
Autonomous and semi-autonomous systems.
