What’s the role… Carpenter (Dock Builder & More)
Daily duties
Ensure all equipment, safety items, tools and materials are checked, doublechecked and organized before heading to the job site, to ensure productive time spent.
General and/or finishing carpentry duties as assigned
Cleanup and prepare worksites, shop, yard, and trucks
Expectations
Ability to use hand and power tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to show up to work and job sites on time
Ability to follow instructions
Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned
Qualifications
Must have Driver's License G
Boater’s License an asset
Post-Secondary education preferred but not mandatory
2+ years of experience within the construction industry
Professionalism in manner and attire
Willingness to travel to construction site(s) daily
Willingness to work weekends and extended hours as necessary to meet customers’ or Dream Docks’ needs.
Meet physical demands such as lift (50 pounds), push and pull heavy items on a regular basis, stoop, knee, bend, and stand for prolonged periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
