Project Metal Works is a metal fabrication shop serving the greater Lower Mainland and offering laser cutting, CNC punching and forming services for many different industries. Founded in 2017, Project Metal works is in partnership with Valley Powdercoat Ltd to offer services to our customers from design to delivery of finished product, including coating of parts.
We are seeking to hire an experienced Press Break operator to join our team at Project Metal Works. Our ideal candidate has experience with CNC program writing (Accurpress equipment) for both ETS100/AP2 and ETS3000 systems as well as daily operation and light duty maintenance. We are looking for someone that has an eye for quality and also understands a production environment. Compensation will be determined based on level of knowledge and experience.
Job Duties:
- Properly read and follow all shop drawings to bend products according to various tolerances
- Follow all safe operating procedures while running equipment
- Use quality inspection tools such as angle finders and digital calipers to maintain tolerances
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
- Ensure tooling is properly stored and used to prevent loss or damage
- Follow document and revision control procedures
- Support both deburring and shipping personnel to complete orders as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
