The Weston Foods Data Governance, ERP team is building and implementing an SAP platform to support Weston Foods’ growth strategy with a goal of becoming North America’s premier bakery. Based at Airport Road in Mississauga, we are a fast-paced, and collaborative team working towards transforming the way Weston Foods does business. To achieve this goal, we are looking for talented and passionate individuals who want to solve challenging problems and make a significant and lasting impact within Weston Foods.

Reporting to the Senior Director of the Data Governance team. The mandate of this team is to establish an organizational data governance framework that will ensure that data is treated as a corporate asset and is readily available to support decision making.

Core Accountabilities :
In collaboration with data stewards develops data policies and standards for managing data
Acts as an internal consultant to business units to provide assistance in the achievement of high data quality standards
Assists in process improvement initiatives related to data collection, data migration and data quality management
Identifies and interprets patterns and trends to assess data quality
Communicates the results of analysis as a comprehensive report to key business stakeholders
Makes recommendations to improve processes resulting in improved data quality standards
Use various analytical tools to identify root-cause for issues and implement solutions
Builds and maintains a culture where data is considered a corporate asset
Provides expertise and advise during resolution of data quality issues

About You:
A degree in business administration, commerce, or computer science
Demonstrated knowledge in the area of data governance
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with overlapping deliverables
Ability to adapt to changing environments, pick up new skills/learn quickly, and continuously improve
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize large quantities of data
Strong interpersonal skills including ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Demonstrated ability to develop productive working relationships with internal stakeholders
Strong communication, organizational and documentation skills
SAP experience is desirable
Data migration experience is desirable
Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools especially Excel and PowerPoint
Flexibility to travel in Canada and the US
