Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various commercial and industrial spaces. This role is essential in creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers consistent hours and the opportunity to work in a professional setting focused on quality and attention to detail.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in designated areas.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
- Ensure all assigned areas are maintained in a neat and sanitary condition throughout the shift.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety protocols diligently.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may include standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and walking throughout the facility.
