Marathon Underground Constructors Inc. is seeking a motivated Hydrovac Swamper to join our team for a major municipal water and wastewater infrastructure project in Martensville, Saskatchewan.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced operators and utility crews while gaining valuable experience in underground construction and hydrovac excavation.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Hydrovac Operator with daylighting, potholing, utility exposure, and excavation activities.
- Safely operate vacuum hoses, wands, and excavation tools.
- Set up and maintain safe work zones
- Perform general labour duties to support utility and construction crews.
- Assist with equipment inspections, cleaning, fueling, and routine maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Follow all company safe work procedures and OH&S regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
Qualifications
- Previous construction or utility experience is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (Class 3 is an asset).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

- Standard First Aid/CPR
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS
- Confined Space Entry (asset)
- Previous Hydrovac or underground utility experience (asset)
