Permanent year round position

Hours fluctuare and are dependent on business needs (closer to FT in the summer, less in the slower seasons).

Hourly paid, up to 40 hours per week

Days, evenings, and weekends including holidays are required.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Team Leader, Visitor Services who will report to the Assistant Manager, Visitor Services. This role will lead by example while working alongside the Visitor Services Representatives displaying excellent customer service skills to ensure extraordinary member and visitor experiences.

What you will do:
Handle escalated customer complaints in a professional manner
Provide staff with guidance and training
Assist with daily task allocation to ensure the Visitor Services team maintains a safe, professional and customer service focused work environment
Generate reports and update exchange rates
Problem solve/troubleshoot office technology and equipment issues as needed
Monitor lost and found procedures
Assist with group bookings and visitor orientation

What you need to have:
Grade 12 diploma completed
Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in direct customer sales and service in a hospitality or retail environment using point-of-sale computer systems
Availability to work days, evenings and weekends including holidays (working long weekends is required)

Considered an asset to have:
Prior experience or training with Gateway Galaxy ticketing systems
A valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License
Ability to speak French or other languages

Ability to manage multiple priorities and high volumes of work while attending to details
Flexibility year round as hours are dependent on the season and business needs
