Novis Maintenance Solutions is looking to hire Maintenance Workers / Handymen to join our team.
We are looking to hire two people. This could be one full-time and one part-time position, or two part-time positions, depending on availability and experience. We are open to discussing the best arrangement with the right candidates.
Our office is based in Delta, but the work is performed throughout Metro Vancouver. A company vehicle will be provided for work-related travel.
The successful candidate will assist with small maintenance and repair jobs at residential, commercial, and strata properties.
Responsibilities
- Perform small maintenance and repair jobs as assigned.
- Complete drywall repairs and patching.
- Complete minor door repairs and adjustments.
- Assist with general building maintenance tasks.
- Attend different job sites throughout Metro Vancouver.
- Communicate professionally with the office, clients, building managers, and residents.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
- Take photos and provide updates upon completion of jobs.
- Use scheduling or service management software, such as Housecall Pro or similar platforms, to review job details and provide updates as required.
- Follow company procedures and safety requirements.
Experience
- Previous experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or similar role.
- Basic knowledge of drywall repairs, door repairs, and general maintenance.
- Ability to use common hand tools and power tools safely.
- Valid driver’s licence required.
- Ability to travel to job sites throughout Metro Vancouver.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete work in a professional manner.
Assets:
- Experience working in strata, residential, commercial, or building maintenance.
- Basic painting, caulking, flooring, carpentry, or repair experience.
- Own basic tools is an asset, but not required for all tasks.
Compensation:
- $28.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Company vehicle provided for work-related travel.
- Full-time or part-time schedule available.
