Job Description
The Branch Manager position formally reports to the SVP, General Manager providing theatrical sales and booking services for the Universal Pictures slate of films.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Book commercial and specialized film across various sales territories.

Coordinate with Print Control for the trafficking of all release and pre-release screenings as well as non-theatrical engagements where applicable

Coordinate with exhibition and multiple delivery vendors to ensure proper print type delivery to exhibition

Collect weekly holdovers and other related tasks

Sell first run titles to independent and regional exhibitors
-
Negotiate / convey film rental policy directions from Universal executives to appropriate exhibitors

Collect missing box office reports and other related tasks where necessary

Facilitate the collection of film rental where necessary, working closely with Accounts Receivables

Analyze industry trends and interpret data
Qualifications
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Basic Qualifications
-
Ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience working in theatrical distribution sales with established exhibitor relationships
-
Distribution industry sales or buying experience is a must
-
Ideal candidate also has knowledge and experience in distributing variety of film
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Comfortable working as a team as well as independently
-
Strong attention to detail

Able to meet strict deadlines

Resourceful problem solver
